Terms of Use
These terms apply when you play Tuggle on iPhone or iPad or use playtuggle.com. They sit alongside Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies to every app downloaded from the App Store. If the two conflict, Apple's agreement wins for matters between you and Apple; these terms win for matters between you and us.
1. Who we are
Tuggle is made by Little Lion Labs, a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) registered in the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 42012326, VAT NL005432658B68, Prinses Julianastraat 12, 2802 JR Gouda, the Netherlands. Contact: support@playtuggle.com.
2. Your account
The app creates a guest account the first time you play. You can link it with Sign in with Apple to keep your progress on another device. Keep your device secure; anyone with access to it can play on your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account.
Your display name must not be offensive, impersonate someone else or contain personal details such as a phone number. We may change a display name that breaks this rule.
3. Playing fair
Duels, daily puzzles and leagues only work if everyone plays the same game. You agree not to:
- use cheats, bots, scripts, automation or a modified version of the app;
- tamper with network traffic, the server or other players' results;
- exploit a bug on purpose instead of reporting it to us;
- create multiple accounts to boost a leaderboard or a league.
Our server replays every daily and duel result. Results that are not possible for a human player are rejected. If we find cheating, we may remove the results involved, reset league points, or suspend or close the account. We will tell you why, and you can reply to support@playtuggle.com if you think we got it wrong.
4. Spools and other virtual items
Spools are Tuggle's in-game currency. You earn them by playing, from the daily chest and by watching optional rewarded ads, and you can buy packs of them.
- Spools and other virtual items (cosmetics, Untwist helpers) are a licence to use content inside the game. They are not money, have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be transferred, sold or traded.
- You can only use them in Tuggle. Spools you have bought are not refundable by us except where the law or Apple's refund process says otherwise.
- If you delete your account, your spools and virtual items are deleted too and cannot be restored.
- We may change how much spools are used for in the game, but we will not take away spools you have bought.
5. Purchases
All purchases in the app are sold and processed by Apple. Prices are shown in the App Store in your local currency and include VAT where applicable. "No Ads" and the Starter Pack are one-time purchases that you can restore on another device with Settings → Restore purchases. Spool packs are consumed once delivered.
Refunds for purchases in the app are handled by Apple at https://reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple refunds a purchase, the items it delivered are removed from your account.
Right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer in the EU, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. For digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, that right ends once delivery has started with your express consent and your acknowledgement that you lose the right of withdrawal (Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU; article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code). Items you buy in Tuggle are delivered immediately after purchase. By confirming a purchase you ask for immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the items are delivered. This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty or not delivered.
6. Ads
The free version of Tuggle shows ads. "No Ads" removes interstitial ads; optional rewarded ads stay available if you want extra spools. How we handle ad consent is explained in our Privacy Policy and our notice on children and ads.
7. Our content
Tuggle, its levels, artwork, sounds and code belong to Little Lion Labs or its licensors. You may play the game for your personal, non-commercial use. You may share screenshots and videos of your games.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Tuggle running, but online features (duels, daily puzzles, leagues, sync) depend on servers and networks and may sometimes be unavailable. We may update the game, add or remove features and change these terms. If a change to these terms matters to you, we will tell you in the app before it applies. If you do not agree, you can stop playing and delete your account.
If we ever stop running Tuggle's online services, we will announce it in the app at least 60 days in advance.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Dutch law, including liability for intent or gross negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect loss, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Tuggle purchases in the 12 months before the event.
10. Ending
You can stop playing and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, as described in section 3.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory law of that country. Please contact support@playtuggle.com first; most problems are solved quickly. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, or to the court where you live if you are a consumer and the law gives you that choice.
